Dryden: Chandler Ranch

Chandler Ranch is a historic guest ranch established in 1912, with a new stage of renovation complete, and ready for guests on a limited, reservation-only basis. Discover the great outdoors by fishing the Pecos River or three stocked ponds, swimming in a spring-fed pool overlooking Independence Creek, hiking, camping, kayaking, and bird-watching. Three newly renovated cabins for overnight stay combine rustic charm with modern luxury. Daily meals included, home cooking with nights around the campfire near the pool. From Sheffield TX drive about 22 miles south on Hwy 349, turn at sign. From Dryden TX: drive about 35 miles north on Hwy 349, turn at sign. Runway for private planes available at ranch. Shuttle from Amtrak stop in Sanderson available.
