28th Annual Crockett County Deerfest, Dec 5, Ozona TX at the Crockett County Fair Park Convention Center. A community-wide annual appreciation banquet for hunters, this evening helps raise money for local civic organizations and West Texas Rehab. Attendees are fed a meal of chicken-fried deer, turkey, axis, deer sausage, deer chili, deer tamales and brisket. Proceeds are raised through ticket sales for door prizes and admission fees. Last year's door prizes included guns, a $10,000 Cabela's gift card, a Jeep Wrangler, and much more. FMI contact: Martin Childress 325-227-9345
